Affiliate Disclosure

FireTested is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links — if you click through and sign up for or buy a product, we may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra; in some cases, readers get a discount that isn't available otherwise.

This complies with the FTC's guidance on endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255). Every article that includes an affiliate link carries a disclosure statement near the top of the page.

How this affects what we cover

We only link to tools we've researched directly. Being an affiliate partner does not guarantee a positive review — articles are written to answer the reader's actual question first, and a recommendation follows from that, not the other way around. When a tool is a poor fit for a given trader (account size, style, budget), we say so even if it's a product we have an affiliate relationship with.

What we don't do

We don't promise guaranteed returns, "risk-free" outcomes, or specific profit numbers for any tool, because no legitimate trading tool can make those promises truthfully. Any performance figures cited in an article are attributed to their source and should be independently verified before you rely on them.

Questions

If you have questions about a specific link or recommendation, the affiliate relationship (if any) is disclosed on the article itself.
